Claudia Sandonato
Current Past President csandonato@comcast.net Claudia Sandonato is the Director of Human Resources at Urban Pathways, a non-profit agency in Manhattan. Her broad background includes experience in workplace learning design and facilitation, organizational development, behavioral health, and HR. Prior to moving to NJ, Claudia was President of the Greater Detroit Chapter of ASTD. She earned her Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) designation through the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) and graduated from the Planned Change Internship in Ann Arbor, MI. |

Scott Cohen
President Elect scott.c.cohen@gmail.com Scott Cohen is currently the Director of Training and Standards for Children's Aid and Family Services Inc. - a private not for profit human services agency, based in Paramus, NJ. Scott manages the learning initiatives and the structure of the agency's training and reporting systems to maintain compliance with national accreditation, State, and agency requirements. His background in corporate training and development is preceded by his experiences in higher education administration, and as a former K-12 ESL and foreign language teacher. He holds a Master of Arts in Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a Minor in French from SUNY Plattsburgh. |

She has held various roles for AIG, American Express, Chubb Insurance, and GE supporting various functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Business and Client Development, New Product Development, and Operations. She has a full range of areas of expertise including assessment, facilitation, design and development, and evaluation skills. Her extensive experience in the leadership development area, includes the design of 360 leadership tools, leadership coaching, and various types of leadership training. Diane has built a training department and infrastructure supporting over 2,000 worldwide as well as various sales curriculum programs. Diane is a pioneer CPLP and is writing her dissertation on entrepreneurship to earn her Ed D in Adult Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. |

Debra’s expertise includes writing, speaking, and listening skills, as well as interpersonal communication, teambuilding, and leadership development. She is also an executive presentation skills coach and speechwriter. She works with firms in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, retailing, energy, technology, and engineering industries. |

Jack Appleman

His writing workshops have enabled corporate employees at different levels to write more productively. Jack has published hundreds of articles, spanning various industries. These include columns on the importance of good writing in Human Resource Executive and in PR Tactics & The Strategist Online. As a professor, Jack also teaches writing at Fairleigh Dickinson and at William Patterson. He received his MS in Journalism from Ohio University and earned the Certified Business Communicator designation from the Business Marketing Association. Ed has developed and implemented multiple advanced technical programs for use in both instructor-led as well as internet-based training environments.
